On November 7th and 8th, FEBIS, represented by its Vice-President Luis Carmona, participated in the 32nd plenary meeting of the International Credit Reporting Committee (ICCR), which took place in Washington, USA. During the meeting that was hosted at the World Bank’s headquarters, members contributed to the definition of the new draft strategic plan for the next 6 years (2025-30).
As part of the the ambitious plan, ICCR main focus will be on prioritising areas of work aligned with industry challenges and trends aiming at creating more visibility and recognition of its work. Resources optimisation and governance will also remain high on the plan.
ICCR's secretariat will maintain close communication with FEBIS and rest of members to fine tune details of the strategic plan before its expected adoption during the first semester of 2025.
During the first day of the event, FEBIS Vice-President presented the work of the new sustainability working party on “The role of the Credit reporting in ESG”, where business information is highlighted as being crucial.
