The World Bank’s permanent committee ICCR (International Committee on Credit reporting) held last week its “Fall Plenary Meeting 2023”, with the magnificent hosting of Bank Indonesia and OJK.
The committee discussed the status and developments in the credit reporting industry as well as future trends and innovations to improve the current reporting systems. FEBIS is a member since 2017 and participated in the presentations and discussions, actively, with the representativeness of one of its vice-president, Luis Carmona. The ICCR comprises representatives from central banks and other financial and data privacy regulators, multilateral organizations and credit reporting service providers represented by their associations from all regions of the world.
This plenary meeting took place after the first “Asia Pacific Regional Consultative Group” with the assistance of numerous authorities, central banks and credit reporting and financial services providers from the region, which enabled the possibility, for most of the attendees, to attend the ICCR plenary as observers.
The committee was followed by a “Regulatory Forum” which concluded a wonderful rally of productive meetings for the industry.
