This year, CRISTAL GROUP USA is celebrating its 20th anniversary. On this occasion, Jean-François JARD
(Managing Partner for the Americas) looks back over the highlights and turnkey projects that shaped those two decades.
CRISTAL is an independent group created in 1997 by Kévin ALILI RIVATON. Its American operation, CRISTAL GROUP USA, was created in 2003 by Jean-François JARD. CRISTAL GROUP USA initially set itself on the American market as a Credit Reporting expert.
The group’s cross-functional approach is based on a purposely global presence and on a network of reliable foreign correspondents, each specialized in their domain.
This combination, associated with the expertise of dedicated teams of analysts, ensures a real flexibility, reactivity, and the ability to provide a large production capacity of standard reports while conducting customized investigations.
After 20 years of activity, CRISTAL GROUP USA is the undisputed leader of FRESH INFORMATION investigations in Latin America and the Caribbean, serving worldwide Risk Management and Credit Reporting professionals.
Building on its success, CRISTAL GROUP USA has extended its operations to other continents: CRISTAL GROUP AFRICA was created in 2016 in Ivory Coast, and CRISTAL GROUP ASIA was relocated in early 2023 to Singapore. This overseas growth allows CRISTAL GROUP USA to enhance its services portfolio with Business Intelligence and Compliance investigations, and with Cybersecurity services.

In the past 20 years, CRISTAL GROUP USA has developed from a few dozen reports to now providing more than 250 reports per day, without ever curtailing the quality of our product. To better satisfy our clients demands and to ensure improved results in our investigations, we have opened four (04) offices in Latin America – in Argentina, Panama, Brazil, and Mexico, and we have built strategic partnerships with other key market players.
This has enabled CRISTAL GROUP USA to develop new products while expanding our range of services, including business intelligence reports and compliance checks, to satisfy broader market demands. Today, we can state without exaggeration that CRISTAL GROUP USA is a recognized leader in credit reporting, risk management and business information services in the Americas. This success is a credit to us all, and it binds us to our commitment to continue delivering exceptional services while developing our capabilities.
